The Iron Tower Shield is a beast. It’s the second Tower Shield that you can craft in Valheim and has blocking power equivalent to the Silver Shield.
While the iron tower shield is capable of blocking tons of damage, it’s significantly less effective in the Swamp because Blobs and Oozers will use a deadly Poison attack on you. This is even more dangerous if you’re using a tower shield because of the movement speed penalty.
