Crows are found flying around near the Black Forest. They’re big black birds that drop feathers, mostly used for crafting arrows, when you kill them. It’s easiest to kill crows after they land but good luck doing it with melee. Your best bet is to use a bow and some wood arrows to hunt crows.
Crows will flee whenever you get anywhere near them and sneaking doesn’t seem to help
