The Bronze Axe is the first metal axe available in Valheim. It’s a vital piece of equipment that allows you to cut down hard trees. You must upgrade to the bronze axe even if you’re primary weapon is another weapon-type.
Bronze axes are strong enough to cut down birch trees and every other rare wood tree in Valheim.
